Hey all I got to looking at the truck today and noticed that the kickdown cable on the transmission seemed to have a lot of slack so got to messing around with the end that attached to the fuel pump and the snap on the end broke off someone had broke it once before cause it had glue on it. That must be why the new one was under the seat anyway I put the new one on and I just need to know if anyone knows the proper adjustment I got a pos chilton that explains how to adjust the old metal rod style but not the cable. With tranny in park have someone hold throttle to the floor, from underneath move lever and adjust so there is 1/16 inch freeplay in lever, no more and no less
