having problems with switching rear gears
hey guys im new to this board glad ive found it ok my prob is that i bought this 94 dodge with the turbo diesle anywho the speedo is off well the guy who had it before put a 410 gear rea in it i believe it had 338 gear is what he told me not sure but anyway i got the speedo gear to fix the odometer well then installed it but it wont go into od put the other gear back in and shifts fine ok thats a problem how do i fix this or how do i make this thing shift into od manualy please any help would be appreciated

You need to "index" the speedo gear when you install it. You need to know the number of teeth on the gear, and orient the gear housing according to a chart from the manual. i am sure that someone will know a URL for a chart.<br>george
