proper engine temp
I get up to 200ish when pulling the fifth wheel (10,000 -11,000 #'s) in the mountains in Auguest doing about 60 MPH. I was a little concerned at first but on the down side of the hill the temp went down as well. Mine only gets that hot on long grade hills. Flat land its about 160 - 170*. In short i would say its not out of range for pulling a 10,000 # trailer.

acblake; that temp is normal.
That temp while towing is perfectly normal. I was hitting that type of temps going accross country in 100degree heat with the AC running towing my 10k 5vr thru the mountains. As long as you hear the fan kick in and the temp doesn't continue to climb than don't worry about it.
Just "Drive it Like You Stoke it" and everything will be alright.
