problem with touchy/sticky brakes

1st off my truck has 66xxx miles and my brakes just started to be very touchy like i push the pedal in just alittle and its like i slam on the brake theres no way to ease into them anymore and the pedal kinda sticks alittle like when i let off the pedal the brakes are still on and i need to pull up on the pedal with my foot now this kinda reminds me of when my brake master went out on my 92 f150 and i only had rear brakes but i dont really see how the master could fail so soon on this any suggestions would be great thanks
