Problem ????

I was driving my 2004.5 down the highway when it just died all of a sudden... Pulled over and it started just fine... Drove about five miles down the road and it died again... Now it will not start and it gives me the following codes...
p 0541
p 0628
p 0148

Can somebody tell me whats wrong with it and should it be under warranty ??? I have had the truck just over five years and it has 80,000 miles on it.... Thanks

Lift pump codes from what I remember. They will retrofit the new intank unit if yours is still on the back of the fuel filter canister. It will also be covered under the Engine warranty of 7yrs/100,000 miles. Year 6 and 7 you will need to pay the 100 dollar deductible. Year 5, it is free. Most dealers never get this right so be prepaired to get aggrivated if you want to keep your $100.

No need to get ugly. Just have your warranty book with you. You will get alot more done by being nice.....

Look in your warranty book or call the help line. I don't remember the number though. Oops.
