Priming Fuel System?

Waiting on injectors to get here and everything is apart, I even removed the entire fuel rail to make things easier. I remember reading somewhere, and I can't remember where, about priming the fuel system before starting. How is this done? Just bumping the starter? Are there any special procedures I should know about before starting this thing?

Just bump the starter 2-3 times. The system is self priming. I am getting ready to do the same thing so I have read a ton of info on injector installs. The major no-no is opening the high pressure lines to and from the rail to prime them.

You mean opening the high pressure lines to and from the rail to "bleed" them right? Other than that there is nothing? Man, this seems too easy.

Try this: key ON - key Off - key ON - lift pump should run ~25 seconds for priming

Let me know if this works on the Dodge Diesel - does on other DCX products

My Walbro doesn't run unless the starter is "bumped". My stocker was the same way.
