pedal position sensor

pedal position sensor

anyone know where to find the pedal position sensor on a 2003 2500? the cable runs to a spring on a housing on the motor. is it inside the housing??

It is that whole piece with the return spring on it. Called the APPS by Dodge and bell crank or bell crank sensor by Cummins. Search APPS or P2121 or P2122 and you'll get some reading material.

On 03/04 it's either under the plastic cover by the intake (with the tv cable) or under the battery. I forget which. Someone will chime in. If I get a chance today I will look it uop in the sm.

'03 is right under the plastic cover where the throttle cable disappears. About 6 bolts to take it off and 1 plug underneath it (6 wires) that you can barely get your hand to to unplug it.
