Pedal Motion Notchy When Using Cruise

Hey everybody,
When using cruise and resting my foot lightly on the pedal, I've noticed the motion of the pedal is not smooth. It feels notchy or jerky. It feels this way either accelerating or decelerating. It becomes more noticeable when towing in rolling hills, probably because the cruise is having to compensate more. Rather than take it in, I though maybe I could lubricate a cable or check for a sticking diaphram. Maybe the cruise is actuated by a servo instead? Anyone else noticing this behavior on theirs? I've only got about 4,500 miles it yet. Think it will smoothen out with time, or get worse? Thanks.

That's totally normal. The electric actuators used in modern vehicles are not smooth like the old vacuum units, they move in steps. A digital vs. analog thing, nothing to be concerned about.

Whenever I want to use the pedal while cruise is on, I just hit Cancel and it smooths right out. No worries.
