Any way to bypass the "in motion" menu on factory nav on an `04.5?
Yes, but forgot mostly how. Believe it had to do with removing a speed sensor wire, but then you would lose the trip time and some turn by turn features. Another way was to re-flash the firmware by downloading it off the net. Did not want to do this since the site looked fishy.

It was kind of anoying not to be able to work the NAV when the truck is traveling over 10MPH. I would never do it while I'm driving but it is always my passenger (son or wife) that do the inputs. On my REC I had this guy write a program that tells the unit that the truck is not moving. Now I can do whatever input to the NAV at will.
I`m not sure , which one it is without pulling it out , but it`s not the orig. one. I got a better one from a buddy of mine , that has a lot more options..as well as a larger screen. It IS a Dodge item though.
The local stereo shops say they have no way to do anything with it
Any links to the discs on e-bay?
