Help I have a p00069 code showing and engine light is on what does this mean ther are no numbers in front of the 69 except the zeros

 

I take it that no one has seen this before

 

The code is "MAP/BARO Correlation" but I do not know what that means or what to do about it. Sorry I can not be of more help.

 

I'm gonna hazard a semi-educated guess here and say that there are two pressure-sensing devices: The map sensor, which measures pressure inside the intake tract, and the barometric sensor, which measures ambient pressure. That this code is saying is that there's a discrepancy between the two sensors. This would indicate that perhaps one of them is bad.

 

i got myself a p0107 on friday... i suspect the map sensor let go... as i get a bad stumble now at 1900-2000 rpm under load and the ecm defuels bigtime after that point... was fine in the morning on the drive home from work, went to go to the bank later [like 2 hours] and went to merge with traffic [had to get on it hard cause it was a small gap i pulled into] and stumbled... oh well, to the dealer i go later this week... 1st failure for me..

 

I think the map sensor might not have been connected good but not sure is there any way to clear the codes to see if they come back P0069,P2269 and a P0562 and the engine light stays on I forgot to mention that I disconected both batteries fo an hour but codes are still there also Auto Zone said they could not clear them just tell me what they are??

 

Just drive it, after a few good trips it will go out on its own....
