Oil Pressure Gauge

My oil pressure gauge moves from below 40 to above 40. When I am idling it goes below 40 and when driving it goes above 40. Is this normal? I thought It was supposed to stay around the same thing.

If it is in the normal range marks, don't worry about it.

Its not even a real gauge.
The Cummins sender is only a 7psi switch either on or off.
If you want a real gauge, buy an autometer.
