Got on the Soapbox a little early - Sorry

I was a bit self-righteous in my earlier post. I re-read my post and it was a bit of a rant. I rescind my accusations on theft, poor parenting, etc... I just have a problem with those that are always trying to avoid paying their fair share. I’m not talking about working every angle to reduce your taxes. That’s the right thing to do. I’m talking about tax evasion.

I apologize if I offended.

No offense taken...Thanks for the clarification. I agree about paying one's fair share to society...

My problem with the fuel taxes, are that they're SUPPOSED to go back into road maintenance and other items related to road useage. No matter where I go, the roads absolutely suck. They're full of holes, the bridges are falling apart and my number one pet peeve is the 'No Trucks' signs I see on every other road. In my neck of the woods, there are really only 2 seasons; winter and road construction. But no matter how much construction is done, they never seem to get any better!

So, if I can't go the speed limit because of the roads' deplorable condition, or I'm banned from using a lot of the roads, where exactly, are my fuel taxes going? It's like paying a toll then being told not to use the road! THAT'S why I'm inclined to use red diesel!

My rant is done!

Arizona has random diesel fuel testing check points in both rural and city areas.
