No wait to start light?
No wait to start light?
I understand that it is not winter time. But, my 2001 would come on every time I started for 3-4 seconds, long enough for the lift pump to feed fuel and shut off. On my new 03 it has not come on and I have had it for 2 weeks. As a matter of fact I don't even know where it should be lighting up at. For now I have just been listening for the lift pump to shut off, about 3 seconds. Any clues, maybe the grid heater relay which went out on my 01? Thanks Aaron
Doesn't come on above about 60 deg. F. Mine does the same. Not that you have to worry but it will still start perfectly even at 20 deg. F if you just get in and start it (not waiting for the light to go out).
The light should be coming on as part of the instrument cluster / light check. The grid heater won't come on above about 60 F on the sensor. Maybe your light burnt out. It should be showing up right above the steering column and looks like a white loop. Look in your manual for a layout of the cluster.
Yes exactly guys this is what I was talking about just the light would come on my 01. I don't even see the one on my new 03. I don't know it may be burnt out, I will try and diagnose later on. Thanks for the help guys and have a blessed day. Aaron
