hi guys,my dad has a 2003 sb 6 spd 4x4 larimie.maybe 30k on her,tows his 25ft 5er.he says lately after engine has warmed up the tranny lite on the dash comes on and stays lit for a few seconds and goes out.he has a standard trans.i asked him to check for codes,is it the same procedure as the 2nd gen?{i have a 2nd gen}any ideas on this strange matter???thanx

to answer your other question, to check codes is turn key on and off 3 times ending in the on postion
not sure if its this way with the 2nd gens
