No power steering

Anyone out there experience loss of power steering when truck is stationary? Once moving, steering assist is there until you go try and park it? Fluid good, belt good, have not attempted to disconnect aftermarket steering stabiliser and see if that is problem.
Any experience / advise welcome

Yep, then my pump went out, made noise first for 2-3000 miles, then went dead leaking fluid all over the place. I think the larger tires don't help much.

Does it happen all the time while parked or at very slow speed?

Mine does the same thing sometimes - and the big tires don't help much!

I have that problem when stationary. When I'm on the hardpack I need to move a bit or rev it up to get it to turn.

Strange thing is, I've never had a problem powering the 12K# hydraulic winch at idle...

Mine did the same thing on my 06. I believe the PS pump also drives the power brakes, so don't wait long. My pump died at 750 miles, even before I put bigger tires on.

It was covered under warranty, I saw a few other guys with PS woes, I think there was a bad batch of them.

There are cheap like stated before. I actually just bought it and stuck it in myself, cuz I was in a hurry to get back on the road.

ive been dealing with the same thing. just bought my 07, and had to change the pump due to the reservoir being cracked and that one ended up leaking at the pressure fitting so i replaced that one last night and today i was turning and it seems as if there is no power steering at all now. not even when moving. the tires im running are taller but not much wider than stock. im ready to sell this POS! its been a non stop headache since ive bought it a month and half ago
