New Improved CP3???

So my OE CP3 had a small (really really small) leak.. just enough to make dirt stick.. but it was under warranty so a new one went in... The dealership told me it was the new improved design..

Was this typical dealership BS or is it something mo betta?

also just had mine replaced this winter due to leak between two halves of the pump. they told me the new one had better seals. I guess they started using better viton seals due to so many pumps leaking when it gets cold. Otherwise i think they are the same....

just got my leaky one replaced today by dealer under warranty, truck does run a little different with it, not in terms of power, but noise. engine noise is down abit. it came with a new fca thats a lot quieter ticking at startup then before. But then again today was the warmest day in 3 months so it could all be just my imagination.

Didnt you just drop 3K on new "stock" injectors.. to each his own i guess but why would you need a 230% pump with stock injectors? j/w

I wonder if the FCA is why I am seeing better pressure build on acceleration?

I'd think you could get a better price direct from II.
