Can you blow out injector tubes?

can you blow out injector tunes backwards? the tubes that go from the line to the injector have a filter in them called a edge filter. instead of replacing mine at $70 a piece ($430 for 6) i thought i could blow mine out backwards to dislodge any metal debris in them. is this wise to do?

Are they plugged up?
I normally blow all lines out with brake cleaner and the injector tubes when I install injectors.

Well unless you make a couple of thousand psi with your mouth you will not get much flow.

Back flush is the way to clean them but you have to be very clean in everything you do as you do not want to push dirt into the downstream side of the filter.

I haven't tried to blow through them with my mouth but I spray the brake cleaner through the tube the correct way first then backwards and it doesn't have trouble spraying through.
