I put a thread on this and other forums concerning a select shift kit for my 05. There were no replies. I want the ability to choose my gear when pulling a heavy trailer like you can with newer Ram trucks. Well there is a new product available for this. It's called a Tap Shifter and is available through BD Diesel products. Now you can select any gear as you want it with a flip of a switch on the shift handle plus a display shows what gear you are in . Plus it allows torque converter lock up if you want an exhaust brake.

Has anyone installed one of these kits?????
