Magnuson Moss act will not help you in the least. Besides, it is about as useless as the 35 year old paper it was written on. Wave that at a dealer and they will interpret that as wanting to take legal action and nothing will get done till the lawyers hash it out. Most likely would cost you more in the long run.

Sorry to say this, but if you can't provide proof that you changed the oil and filter at the recommended intervals you are pretty much up the manure creek.

An oil sample now might prove that the oil is fine. But what about the past? Here again if you don't have any kind of proof, they can deny you.

No, I am not affiliated with Dodge in anyway shape or form. Just too many times you read about others going through the same thing by not keeping receipts. Mazda pulled this crap with me on our 04 RX-8 we had. I only had about 1/2 the receipts over the 75,000 miles on the car. Dealer said engine needed replaced. The RX-8 Renesis Rotary Engine has a history of premature failure. They wouldn't cover it with out all the receipts. Went and picked up the car and traded it in before we had any other issues.

I wouldn't do that cause they may go to that shop and ask them to produce the records and that shop should be able to do that.
