I've decided to go with Goerends fully built, including the flexplate. Only problem.... the extra cost of the flexplate now leaves me no $$$ to pay for the install. Any gearheads in the SA area with a tranny jack and some time on a weekend? It's gonna kill me if I have a bad AZZ tranny sitting on the floor for a few weeks until I can get her installed.........

 

I rented a tranny jack at a local tool rental store for my clutch swap. I picked it up an a Saterday morning and returned it first thing Monday and cost me 22.80. It would be a very good idea to have a helper but to me you basically put it back in like it comes out.

I have never taken out a auto before so I have no tips but hopefully someone one here wil speak up.

It would be nice to have someone help you that has done one but it shouldnt be too bad. I had some help with my 6spd but nobody there had done one before including myself.
