NEED HELP;fuel filter

Is there anything special I need to know before I cange my fuel filter? I dont have a manual or anything like that.........

Need Help; fuel filter

If all you're going to do is change the fuel filter element all you need is the information on your truck that you've listed below. If you're looking at changing the filter cannister, etc., you need to determine they type and how it will connect to your engine, etc.

no, when you replace it make sure you get the old o-ring out. then when ready to start just bump the starter a few times to fill the bowl. then starter up.

All I am doing is changing the element and I have that already. Just wanted to make sure that there wasn't any tricks I needed to know about...

Having an 1 1/8" socket and a wobble extension make this alot easier. Also wet the o-ring so the head spins without tearing or squishing it.
