More troubles for the 600????? - >
My truck passed no problems. It had to sit at the dealership overnight to let the block cool for 8 hours.
The freeze plugs are there becuase that's how the block was picked up and moved around after casting the iron. They really don't serve as freeze plugs unless you aren't using antifreeze. Freeze plugs were there for older diesels. Today they serve as casting plugs.

600 Leak test
I had mine tested today. It passed the test with respect to the block not leaking, however the dealer informed me that the radiator leaked during test. They have ordered me a new one and I will have them install it when it comes in. He said he hasn't had any fail yet. I ask him whether they would have to redo the test once the radiator was replaced. He said no. I guess I'm not convinced that this is true. Just thought I would put this in for information for everyone.
Is this an official recall? My truck arrived today and I told the salesman about the freeze out plug problem. He said that the service manager ran my VIN (4G215290, Feb 17 engine build date) for recalls but there were none.
Thanks.
Thanks.
