Max pressure through fuel filter

I am looking at replacing the stock fuel filter lift pump on my 03 QC. What is the maximum pressure the fuel filter can withstand? I also understand that if the fuel pressure is too high the engine may have difficulty starting. What would be considered too much? I notice that BD has one of their pumps p/n 1050226 that comes with an oil pressure switch so the "helper" pump does not run until the vehicle is running. Hey, inquiring minds wish to know.

Thanks,...........dogger

Superduty reported cracking the lid at 60psi...it should be under his walboro pump thread.

High pressure won't affect the starting in the 3rd gen trucks. The starting problems were in the 2nd gens with too much static pressure.
