I have just bought a 2004 2500 with 5.9 and six speed, quad cab, 4*4 long bed with 100k miles. Truck is clean, but no idea of maintenance history. Have not been able to find previous owner for questions. Runs great. Had about the same truck, but 48re. Love the six speed. Question? What maintence shoud I perform. What fluids types should be used for diff and trans? Other? Thanks, G. Fain

If for no other reason , change every fluid bake, atf, oil g-lube,coolant and anything els you can think of , then you know whats in there and make it what you want. then adjust the valves , same thing , so you can get a scedual going , do not forget filters. then what put in is the can of worms answer , its a mater of whos religon you want to beleave. higher change intervals reg. lubes , purple , synthetics . I like Amsoil for every thing and the purple stuff too , but exspensive. Check the brakes , make adjustments .
