low speed vibration

i have been experiencing a low speed vibration for the last two months that i cant find. only does it at around 33 to 35mph. hold it there at that speed and you can feel it in the driver side floor board area-not in the steering wheel. below or above that speed truck is great. its like a dull, weak vibration that hasnt gotten any worse-but its noticeable . my tires are 3 months old and have been rebalanced twice at different shops. tires have been rotated-no difference. i have had the u joints replaced two weeks ago. ball joints all replaced last November. new front bilstein shocks today. new 08 steering eight months ago. had it at the shop today for the new shocks and had the whole front end gone through again. told that everything is tight. so i am at a loss. the mechanic i took it to says it maybe in the tranny? is this a symptom of a harmonic balancer going bad? axle u-joints? any ideas?

Sounds like the driveshaft is out of balance.

i was thinking that i hope it is something simple and relatively inexpensive. definitely dont think it is the tranny, like it was suggested to me

drive shaft has been balanced. did not fix the vibration. truck was in the shop for 4 days. they could not find the vibration. they confirmed its not the tires. they checked the tranny mount and also went through the whole front end. the only thing i have not replaced are the 4 year old rear shocks

I had a same thing and had the tire shop do a road force balance on the tires. Made a hudge differance. Tires stays on the truck for the balancing process. The tires wear alot better when this is done. Could be your carrier bearing as well starting to go

I get mine done at the local Tire shop and you have to ask for it. This is how they balance the BIg truck tires. I have had some of my Toyos out of round from the factory. You have to ask the tire folks how out of balance the tires are. How much weight did they add . I also had 3 of my four bolts come out of my Harmaonic balancer that casued all kinds of issues with a shimmy in my truck.

harmonic balancer seemed fine when i checked it. doesnt move, dont see any damage,etc.. vibration getting alittle more pronounced the last couple of days at at different speeds now. use to be at 33mph. now it does it at 48-50mph. seems like it stops when i take the foot of the go pedal. which rules out tranny, correct?- which would mean its in the drive line. also when i got to work to day and back the truck up with the wheel slightly turned i felt something from the rear driver side wheel it felt odd-hard to explain

had the tires road force balanced about three weeks ago..which added alot more weight to each wheel. did not solve my vibration. found another shop in which the owner drives a new cummins. he put his rims/tires on my truck and i went for a drive. its the toyo tires! no more vibration! now i have to contact toyo to see what they say!
