so lately i have noticed the truck has been surging really bad even if i hold the gas steady. i really only notice it like around 5-10 or sometimes 20-25. if i step on it a little more it goes just fine and stops. its only when i barely push the pedal down... it always does it too even with the BDTD on stock. I dont tow with the truck either and it has about 25k on it. i never run it on extreme either.

does this sound like a lift pump? or TC? Tranny? it is an auto.... i cant figure it out!

 

It sounds to me that the solenoid valve in the transmission has not been replaced under warrantee. My 2007 had a similar studder and was fixed under warrantee (under 3/36).
