Low speed lunging at light throttle in first gear

I have 80K miles on my truck and it has on occasion lunged while going up a hill in first with light throttle. Of course the dealer said nothing was wrong when I told them several years ago. Now it's doing it more often and on flat roads and it's more noticeable. Does this sound like the governor? If so, anything else I should replace while in there? I'm taking my truck in for tranny fluid change so might as well take care of everything then.

I found this TSB which describe my problem. Does Dodge cover TSBs out of warranty?

sounds like your governor solenoid. My tranny is doing the same thing, bought the parts to fix it, now I'm just trying to find time to replace it.
check out this thread for a how to:

Yep, replace the gov pressure solenoid and transducer as a start. If that doesn't completely cure the problem look at the output shaft speed sensor.
