I am Az and seems unless this thing is warm it doesn't run right.I mean if I am just cruising around like in the last few days for even 20-30 minutes,this thing seems like theres a problem.But then I'll get on it a few times hard and then it starts running fine.These things like running warm but what are all you folks experienceing where its actually cold out?

you should see what they're like in -45° weather!

 

noithin wants to work in -45* weather! LOL! just plug it in, call the boss and tell him you are staying home and drinkin a beer!

 

Mine runs a little rough for first 15 min. when cold out, dont think its to much to worry about.

 

Diesel's need HEAT!! If they are cold, cool or not to operating temperature they will be lower on power that normal operating temp. Here in MN on a average day in the winter (15-25 deg) I notice a huge difference in performance until the truck reaches operating temperature. I do not put my foor into it when cold but ut does take more than normal foot movement to get the truck up to speed, it does run fine, just low on power. Hope this helps.
