Loud Squeek at Shutdown
A nice side effect to the chirp is as you put miles onto the truck and one day it decides not to chirp at you, and it just continues to not chirp at you, it is getting to be time to replace the belt due to wear.
There is a belt shred issue on 03 to 05(6-29-05 mfg date) 5.9's, it requires an over-running alternator pulley to fix.. just had mine done under warranty. belt shredded with only 23K on it. No TSB # it was listed as a service repair tip. OAP part # is 05183490AA
