squeek, squeek!!!!

When driving over speed bumps or small dips with the windows down I can hear squeeking coming from the front suspension. If you push on the front of the truck from the side while parked it squeeks as it quits shaking. The rubber looking boot on the top of the drivers side spring looks like it is working its way out around the sides as well. When I hit these bumps I also feel a clunking sound that is getting very annoying. I dont know if it is the control arm bushing wearing out or something in the spring area. I do have a serious shaking under braking that does not always happen. When it does start shaking if I mash the brakes hard it will calm down. Dont know what to do, other than continue going nuts! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Truck has new steering stabilizer and track bar.

The Shocks, are the OEM?
The urethane on the springs is there specifically to make sure there is NO noise (a.k.a, BSR= buzz, squeek, rattle) at the contact of the tower/spring. Even the smaller applications (my wifes Stratus) has rubber pads top and bottom to make sure there is no chance of noise.
Could be wrong, but if your shocks are near their age limit, get a coil compressor and some new cushions while your at it.

Someone can feel free to shoot me down on this topic, just a possibility.

What is the likelyhood of the springs being culprit of my clunking noise instead of the control arms. I figured the shaking could be coming from worn control arms and bushings. Or does it sound like a brake problem from the description? Thanks for the input.

check your wheel bearings, tie rod ends, and ball joints, also check the control arm bushings, i have had a broken bolt on the axle end of one of the control arms cause a clunk noise so check all the bolts, also had a control arm bushing and sleeve come loose and make clunking noise before on the upper end by the frame.

P.O.R, did it cause the truck to pull one way or side to side because of the broken bolt? Just curious. Thanks for the info.

it caused some wandering and some cluncking,it did not cause any noticeable pulling when applying breaks.

id say that shaking on brakes is due to a worped front rotor usualy the side that is worped is the side that pulls sterring should be shaking also as for sqeeking id put some greese or oil on those rubber things sometimes helps because dust setteles on the rubbers and bushings just oil it cheap way
