Lift Pump Question
Lift Pump Question
OK, here goes, a pretty dumb question I guess:
Where exactly is the lift pump located on my 2003 CTD??
If I wanted to keep the pump stock when I need to replace it, about how much could I expect to pay for one?
Really, I'd like to keep one under the seat just in case. Is it a difficult task to change out for the average joe? I do all the maintence issues myself, oil changes, fuel filter changes, air filter changes, etc. but so far not an LP change. BTW, installing low fuel pressure light next weekend.
Thanks in advance.

I agree 100% but if he wants to keep his warranty and carry a spare in the truck its better then being stranded and having the truck towed to a dealer to have the intank pump installed, and being with out the truck for a couple days.
