Can't say for sure about the CR's, but second gens are a straight bolt on proposition, very easy.

Supposed to be real easy, but mine was still under warranty when it went out a couple of weeks ago so I went that route. Did you try the dealer or are you over 100,000 miles/don't want the in-tank conversion?

Just put in a fass 150. If u r putting one of these in and putting the new suction tube in the tank your going to need about 1/2 of rubber ie.mud flap, strips of used tire. New tube head is taller than oem and it will touch the bottom of the bed. If i had to over i would remove the bed. I dropped the tank 4 times due to not reading the instructions correctly and the suction tube issue. The barb fittings are a ***** as well. Had to use a heat gun.

why may I ask did you use 1/2or rubber mud flap/strips of used tire? If you used the draw straw that came with the kit, you are supposed to cut it to length and NO rubber strips of any kids are mentioned in the distructions.

New pump istalled truck started right up. I have a pump in front of my coolant resevoir that I was told was a vacum pump, something to do with the cruise control? Never heard it running before and know I can clearly hear it on all the time. Any clues?
