I have a 2nd generation and it is typical with the pumps going out. Has Dodge corrected this problem in the 3rd generations?

 

Depends who you ask. Some get good service out of the liftpump, others not. Search here and read for hours. The threads go round and round and round and round and round.

 

.....as I stated on your other post on this in another thread. I personally have NOT encountered any probs with the new in tank transfer pump they started using in 05. HPCR is a much better fuel system than the VP system. I really wish I could step up and away from the VP.

 

From what I am hearing since they moved the lift pump to the tank they haven't had many problems.

 

Some have had failures with the in tank lift pump also from what I have read.coobie
