06 warranty

06 warranty

i purchased my first dodge cummins in dec 05 with an automatic tranny i do a lot of towing so i got an extended powertrain warranty 7 year 100,000 mile or so i thought now more than a month later they say they dont offer that warranty anymore 7year 70,000 mile is the best i can get what do i do

If I am not mistaken, the last of the standard factory warranty was for an 05 which carries a 7-70 powertrain and 7-100 Cummins.

The 06 powertrain is reduced to only 3-36 and the Cummins is 5-100. I would tend to say that the extended purchase warranty most likely would only go to the 70k mark.

Try on line at eservicecontracts.com or extendedwarrantypro.com
They do upcharge their web prices some for 4x4's and diesel's but I'm sure they have the DC maxcare 7/100,000.
Shop around, these were priced way below what my dealer quoted me.
