lift pump
I don't know if it's correct, but that's what the dealer told me as well. The way I looked at it was Chrylser sent a tow truck out to pick me up 200 miles from my home and took it to a Dodge dealer to get the in-tank pump put in. All of that was worth a hundred bucks to me I guess. I've heard of some not having to pay the 100 deductible, but it was a hassle to get it waived and also had something to do with whether it was going to be covered by the Chrysler 36k mile warranty or the Cummins 100k mile warranty. Mine was covered by Cummins because I was over 36k miles.
On the FUEL system warranty and ENGINE warranty which is 7/100 the $100 deduct applys after the FIFTH year(years 6 and 7)that the truck has been IN SERVICE.If it CAME with a intank pump trucks year model 05 up that pump is a Chrysler unit with a 3/36 warranty. The engine and fuel system warranty is differant then the 7/70 POWERTRAIN. Dealer personal involved need to read their Policys and Prochedures manual!
