Check all of your light sockets and make sure nothing has come unconnected or loose. If they are loose vibration will trigger the beeper and lamp-out light.

Replace your tail and brake lights with glass based bulbs (the ones in there have plastic bases). After a while, the contacts on the bulbs heat up enough to melt the plastic, causing the contacts to sink into the bases and not make contact. If you can't find the glass based bulbs, carefully bend the contacts out away from the bulb. I did that and got another 2 years out of them.

These trucks have sensors that tell you when you have a bulb getting ready to go out. The problem is that you don't know which one it is until it actually fails. It's almost always a tailight bulb and it usually is one of the two center bulbs. All 6 bulbs in the two tailights are the same and many of us just change them all at once just to fix the problem...

From: In Oroville, Ca., same house for past 46 yrs!
mine drove me crazy for 3 mths!

Mine did the same dam thing. For 3 months!
I finally pulled the tail light assemblies out and checked each bulb for continuity and found both brake light bulbs weren't making good contact. I hit the contacts with a small stainless brush and stuck them back in.
Haven't had any more trouble.

I know what you're going thru with the dinger...i COULDN'T TURN THE STEREO UP LOUD ENOUGH TO GET RID OF IT

Good luck.
