2005 3500 4x4 Shutters on take off for about 3 seconds ? Help 1st dodge & 1st diesel

Start with the basics...

Is the fuel filter clean?

Oil level ok?

Good fuel pressure?

Start with things like that.

How is it after the first few seconds, OK?

Go to the 3rd gen engine and drivetrain forum and type shutter into search this forum.

I have a feeling it might be something in your transmission...

Start with the real basics.
Are you using 4x4 on the road? Don't do that, the drive train needs slip in order to not bind up. ie: off road, mud, snow, ice and slippery wet roads.
