Question Intermittent long crank w/stumble

I have had my 06 crank for a few seconds and do a sort of stumble or partial start thun turn over for another few seconds before fire up. Once she starts it runs fine and has no white smoke.

I have had it in for the long cranking in the cold and white smoke TSB's and now this starting thing has got me a little frustrated. The dealer told me that when it does not do it all of the time there is not much they can do. I would normally bring it in anyway for them to play with it but I just installed a XZT box and do not want to push my luck with the commander installed as well.

The issue started a few days before I installed the XZT so I know that is not an issue, it just bothers me that it will do it about once in every 10 starts with no warning.

Any info or advice will be appreciated.

Thanks.-Jeremy

When you take it in, have them do a injector leak down test. I've read that a couple of people have been having problem with the injectors leaking back to the fuel return. This issue will not cause white smoke like a regular cracked injector. It should all be covered under warranty.
