Removing crank gear without pulling the crank out.

Do any of ya'll know how this can be done? And without hurting the other gears and surrounding pieces? Thanks in advance.

Crank Gear

I pulled one of those once and it took about 40 ton to move, I don't think they make a puller that will move it

Not an easy task. My new crank I just installed did not come with the nose gear. I had to use the one off my old crank. Following the directions in the shop manual I tried with the heavy duty wheel puller, no luck. I ended up taking the whole thing to the machine shop, $25.00 and it was done. I know the shop manual specifies heat temps for pressing a new gear on the crank. Hope this helps.
