Ive got a iron horse garage filter set up also its been on since 2005 still rock solid. It is the best one out there for the money. My buddy had a different one on and within two years it was falling apart. i told and showed my buddy the one i purchased from iron horse and was surprised with how good it was made and worked. Cant beat the price.

Unhappy Done.

Well I finally got it all done, replaced lift pump with a FASS replacement pump. After got it all installed and chacked for leaks, two fittings on the filter base mounts are leaking and I used teflon paste and a lot of torque. So taking them off tonight to see if i can tighten them or? Any ideas on stopping the leaks? ALso the part from FASS that goes on back of fuel filter where old lift pump goes has a slow leak, i tried a new "o" ring and still leaks.
any ideas welcomed.

firebill1720 i had the same problem a couple of years ago with the **** o ring/aluminum block from fass on the back of the fuel filter canister. fass sent out a couple of replacements but i could never get the leak to fully stop. so i went ahead a replaced my fuel filter canister with a 2nd gen fuel filter canister. the 2nd generation has threads on the back side for a fitting! i had to fab a bracket to make the canister fit but it solved my problem

Talking Better!

I was thinking about taking the stock (OEM) filter completly off. Then there will be a lot less connections that can leak. Next is some fuel pressure gauges to keep an eye on the fuel system. I showed a few pics to some friends and of coarse they were like dude build me one. LOL sure for $300.

Update

Finally took it to the shop and they took it apart and said it had a bad o-ring and replaced it no leaking yah, just changes filters and this system seems to be working good, love the fact knowing my fuel is getting filtered to 2 microns NICE.
