without lifting the truck and spinning the tire to count revolutions, is there an easier way? i looked at the axle and all i see is a bar code, and i cant find it on the door. is there a vin # for it? which one is it? thanks.

 

check out www.4wheelparts.com Go to the tire section and there will be a gear/tire chart. Just follow their instructions. You will need to know hieght of your tires and what rpm the motor is doing at 65mph while in drive or 5th gear, which ever you have. not overdrive, but the 1 to 1 ratio. Just follow their directions..............

could try calling the dealer and ask them to look up the vin

 

If you're talking about the dodge in your sig it would have 3.73's. Thats the only option for the G56 in 05 atleast.

 

My 05 has a sticker in the glove box with the ratio on it.
