How to tell what gear ratio...

Looking at buying a truck from a long way away. What is the easiest way to ask a lady what gear ratio is in the truck? ISn't it somewhere in the glove box?

Depends on the year. There should be a tag in the glove box. Get the vin, someone on here can decode it for you.

or call st ******* r with vin. They can list all original options.

if the hood is original theres an easy to read data plate under there as well. pop the hood and look up.
