Curious how to adjust the idle on a '03 2500 dodge cummins, and where should it be idling? 750-800 rpm? Any help would be great.

 

The common rail in the 03 should be adjusted with the dealer shooting a new load so it does not conflict with the PCM set points for the electronic transmission controls if it is an automatic. If you are a standard with A/C, again the dealer should program it for you to avoid A/C conflicts in the PCM.

It will only be a couple hundred to have it done.

The days of twisting a wrench are pretty much gone.
