high idle iusse

hey guys

i have just put a 2003 crd cummins in a 2004 ford f-350 , and found that the engine is idling at 1150 rpm witch is about high setting , the pto is not active and the TPS is at 0 % ,,, the only thing i can found is the temp sensor is not reading right truck at running temp is says about -10 c ,, i have checked the wiring to the sensor ground is good and the sensor has 5 volts at it . i ordered a new sensor but have to wait for it ,,,, just wondering if you guys have had this iusse before

thanks for the help

If the temp sensor is telling the engine that it's -10F, then she will go into high idle on start-up, right?

Kind of a long shot but do you have access to another ECM? With a new temp sensor and no wiring problems, it almost sounds like it is an ECM issue.
