I stated earlier in addition to the point of getting the valve cover off of a 3rd gen truck.
It would take another 5 minutes to get a "rocker box" off of the truck.

First you would unplug the 3 injector harness connections (2 if its a 2006 and up).

Next, you would untorque the 12 8mm injector post/wire nuts from the injectors.

After that there is 7 10mm bolts that can be untorqued or re-torqued (if that is desired) to remove the "rocker box".

Rocker box bolt torque is 24NM/18ft lbs.
Injector wire bolt torque is 1.3NM like 11 inch lbs if I remember right (really low to say the least, be careful not to overtorque the studs will break right off).

PS:
As I searched through my memory I recall you can infact re-torque the "rocker box" gasket and it should or could infact stop leaking.
The valve cover gasket though should not be retorqued because it is the one that can suffer from dreaded gasket rolling and the gasket should be replaced.
My truck suffers from gasket rolling and I don't care to fix it. It doesnt leak enough for me to worry about it.
