Have a question?

There is a bar that goes to both front hubs close to the tie rods. Its not the steering stabalizer but what is it called? I noticed that on the passenger side that it is not connected. I never noticed it until today. Will be heading to the garage tomorrow, and wanted to know if I need to order a part....

You talking about this thing? If so, It's called a sway bar end link. I think.

Hello,

that is your stabilizer or sway bar. It is designed to reduce body roll. It must be properly connected at either side with end links and bushings to perform correctly. Having only one side connected could be dangerous in the right conditions. Have it corrected.

I don't know but it doesn't look too hard. I just tightened mine to stop the rattle in the front end, some 125 ft lbs.
If you're gonna replace them I would look thru the threads
here, you'll find some alternatives to dodge parts, (they bend) I know there are some better quality altrnatives just not off the top of my head.

got mine from don thuren. mine were VERY bent from my lift w/o drop blocks, and don's are MUCH more stout than stock- look so much better too (i know how they look provides NO benefit whatsoever, but hey, they do look better).

Yeah......the lift adds some stress to them. Longer would definately be a benefit! Check out Don's. Really nice guy and easy to talk to ( once you get ahold of him! LOL ) He actually talked me OUT of buying some of his steering linkage due to my driving habits, where I live and such! Can't ask for a more honest guy than that!
