On my 06 the owners manual says I am supposed to grease the front driveshaft. I don't see a grease zert. Any help or pictures would be appreciated.

There are needle type fittings on the left and right u-jounts by the wheel hub.
You`ll need a flash light and a floor jack.
Jack up one wheel, look between the joint and rotate the wheel until you find it. It might also help to turn the wheel of the axle your inspecting outward to help expose it.

Here you go, https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=127834 , it's a real PITA to find the first time, trust me, it's there. I had to jack up both front wheels and have someone turn the front tire while I was under there with a flashlight to finally find it. It's an easy job once you have the NAPA adapter and know what it looks like.

The left and right tie rod ends have regular grease zerks. The left and right u joints do not have grease fittings. The lube point on the front driveshaft is at the rear joint on shaft where it exits transfer case. Its hard to find until you know what your looking for.I just pull forward or backward a little and shaft will rotate....Rooster

I know it's there, but I still haven't found my needle-zerk.

I got 19000 miles on my truck. This recently last 15000 miles I did my own maintenance on my truck, before I was having the dealers doing it. It says every oil change grease the front drive shaft. So, I'm under there looking at the driveshaft and I'm pretty concerned cause I know looking at the fitting it looks as if the front shaft has never been greased, ever. So I start putting grease in there, I kept pumping grease and pumping grease. It was dry as could be. There was no old grease purging from the shaft, it was all new grease purging that I pumped in there. So as far as I'm concerned and save me the money, I will here on out do my own maintenance on my own truck.
