Info on Greasing Front Driveshaft???.. Help

Has to take my truck in for a re-flash last Saturday. Asked if Mopar made a tool for greasing the front driveshaft. The tech. told me that you just spray white lithium grease on the outside of the u-joints.... Seems that the grease is just gonna sling off all over the underside of my truck as soon as I hit highway speeds.... Was wondering if anybody had access to a Mopar service manual or something... I would think that the service manual would list the part # for the tool needed to properly grease it. Thanks!

Here's the text for my 2005:

STANDARD PROCEDURE - LUBRICATION
Vehicles with double cardan universal joint front propeller
shaft (1) are equipped with a grease fitting (2).
Grease the double cardan universal joint at each oil
change.

The line drawing of the assembly shows a side view of the transfer case end of the driveshaft with a #2 arrow aimed at a highlighted double cardan yoke.... No special tools listed, nor detail of a "grease fitting."

BTW, you can buy a pdf of the factory service manual at tradebit.com. Look for the $20.00 one.

Any good auto parts store should have the grease gun tip needed to get grease into that fitting...

You will also want a flexible hose and a pistol grip type grease gun that you can run with one hand.

A needle grease fitting for the end of your grease gun works great.

I prefer to use This style of grease gun, but replace the tip with the needle type (I like the one that is thicker diameter than the one above).
Also, I find it much easier to drop the front shaft to do the lubing as it also gives one a good opportunity to check this wear prone joint for servicing, if required.
This is the Type I use, except I have the one that is longer.
Also note, I have not greased my cardan yet, however I expect it to be the same as my jeep. Final note don't use lithium grease unles you replaced the joint and have used lithium since the start. The factory uses EP grease on jeeps (I'm going to ****u*me that these trucks are the same). SO stick with ep grease.

I have both of the grease fittings above. I first tried the one that "Jeff in TD" showed and had problems getting the grease inside the hole and ended up with large gobs on the outside. I then tried the same one that "AIK" shows in the picture above and the problem was solved. It makes getting grease into the hole easy, but you do have to be a little careful because they are easy to break.
