tranny skips?

tranny skips?

if i mash the gas from a dead stop tranny shifts into secnd fine.But while in second with the pedal mashed it will sometimes have like a skip like it goes outa gear and then shifts back in real quick.Think its on the way out?

Nope its not on the way out. The second band is loose. Their is a TSB out about this. I just had my truck down for the same problem. They replaced the band and adjusted the others. Truck was only down for a day. My truck had 58k on it when it was done
