Sorry guys I know this question has probably been ask a million times on here but for some reason the search feature is not working for me.

My question is about the Fleetguard fuel filters for my 03 Dodge, is the FS 19855 and the FS19856 the same 7 micron filter? My local International dealership that is a authorized Cummins distributor only shows the FS19855 for my truck in their computer and they have no idea what the micron number is,they say it does not specify micron rating.

Also all I have ever used since the truck was new is Fleetguard oil and fuel filters, I was thinking about trying out the NAPA Gold FIL 3585XE fuel filter. Is this the correct fuel filter number for my 03? What is the micron number for the NAPA Gold fuel filter?

You may want to try a Baldwin 7977 as the are a 5 mic filter

Baldwin in my truck since it was new, water seperation and probable the the best filtration for a drop in filter. get them at a Peterbuilt truck shop for $12 bucks, all good.

BT7349 oil filter (shell rotella 15w40 oil)

that is what I use and have had no problems so far

also use the std 4" thick air filter

2005 dodge diesel truck, 79K miles

a good truck deserves good oil and filters.

 

Thanks guys for the info on the Baldwin fuel filters, I'd like to try them out but I'll probably have to order them, I don't know of any place around here that carry them.
